The Maternity Leave Cover Business Development Manager / National Key Account Manager role is a varied and interesting role and will suit: a highly self-motivated, results-driven professional with a strong work ethic who can share our enthusiasm for developing the brand's profile.

Your time will be split between finding and developing new business, and managing ongoing relationships with existing national accounts - the goal being to increase sales and product positioning for the company domestically and internationally

Applicants must have:

  • excellent experience dealing with independent/multiple UK high-street: gift / jewellery /fashion accessories/ homewares retailers, wholesalers and trade related brands.
  • ideally private label product development experience.

Responsibilities will be to:

Understand the current and future needs of new and existing key national accounts, and have the ability, contacts and experience to help them develop new and bespoke product ranges from design conception through to final design sign off.

Facilitate the conversion of new prospects into fully-fledged long-term accounts and; build lasting relationships on behalf of the company with a varied key account base.

Attend various UK trade shows in a sales capacity.

Make contact with new, existing and lapsed key account customers.

Forecast, plan and exceed targets as agreed with the directors.

Working hours are Monday to Friday and occasional weekend attendance at UK trade shows will be required.

Home based working is a possibility but must be able to attend HO in Wiltshire at least three times per week to connect and work face to face with Directors/colleagues

Start date March 2026 dependent upon the successful applicant's current professional and personal obligations.

Salary £40,000+ Plus bonus - dependent upon experience.
